The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa announces the official prize purse for the WFC
Flowboarding League Of the World (FLOW) and The Westin Kierland Resort group have confirmed that there will be a $10 000 prize purse for the upcoming World Flowboarding Championships (WFC) – FlowRider held on October 12th – 13th. Director of Fun Mike Tueros says “We’re thrilled to join the Flowboarding League of the World team and host such a wonderful event while highlighting our FlowRider, our property and our destination to the Flowboarding community.”
The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa sprung onto the flowboarding scene at the beginning of 2013 by joining the USA Prime FLOW Tour for the first time. With a 5 star hotel, top class golf course and many more amenities to enjoy, it was an easy choice for the 2013 WFC – FlowRider event. With such a big prize purse it’s apparent that The Westin Kierland Group are behind the sport and have many more surprises for the event.
The WFC event will showcase the best flowboarders in the world. Teams from Asia, Europe, USA and Canada will be sending their best riders to compete on a world stage to win the gold.

Pro Female Flowboard
Pro Female Bodyboard
Junior Flowboard
Junior Bodyboard
At the end of the day, there will be 6 new world champions, so make sure you clear you schedule and make your way down to The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa.
