Amanda McCormick, the Expert Female FLOW Champion from Wave Loch’s FLOW Tour last summer, and the winner of the World FlowRiding Championships on the FlowRider® Double at Sentosa Island, Singapore, has been recognized by Bill Nelson, Senator of the FlowRiding hotbed of a state – Florida (letter below).
As the winner of all three Expert Divisions (Men’s, Women’s, Bodyboard) hail from the state of Florida, we see a bright future for future installations in the state. It’s nice to know that the FlowRiding Community in Florida has friends in the highest places! Congratulations Amanda, from everyone at Wave Loch.
Dear Ms. McCormick:
As a U.S. Senator, one of the things I take great satisfacion in doing is encouraging young people who reach for and exhibit excellence. That is why I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to you for earning first place in the Ladies Division of the World Flowriding Championship in Sentosa, Singapore. Events like these provide wonderful opportunities to experience and develop commitment, dedicaion and perserverance – skills that will help you with future endeavors both in and out of the water.
This accomplishment represents a well-deserved recognition of your hard work and dedication as well as an important milestone in your college experience. I celebrate your achievement along with you and wish you ever-brighter success within the purpose-filled future I am sure awaits you.
