Surfing Is Short-Listed For Olympics

Surfing just got short-listed to become an Olympic sport!!

The sport of surfing has been selected to enter Phase 2 of the selection process to become an Olympic sport in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Final voting occurs in August 2016.

The International Surfing Association (ISA) is the prime-driver behind this. Achieving short-list status is an important benchmark for the sport.

Surfing wave pools like the Wave Loch SurfPool™ would be ideal training facilities and Olympic venues.
